General Information:
Ages/Teams: Boys in Grades 3 & 4
Girls in Grades 3 & 4
Boys in Grades 5 & 6
Girls in Grades 5 & 6
Dates: December 15, 2025 - March 4, 2026.
Girls play on Monday nights.
Boys play on Wednesday nights.
Practices are held one night a week depending on coaches availability.
Time: 3rd & 4th grade teams play at approx. 5:30 PM
5th & 6th grade teams play at approx. 6:30 PM
*Practice time and days are subject to coaches availability.
*Actual game times are determined by the number of teams and the location of the game.
Location: Home games are held at Eddy Elementary School
Away games are held in other towns
Practices are held at Stony Brook Elementary School
Price: $35R/$45NR/Per Child
Brewster Recreation offers a $15 sibling discount for each additional child in the same household who registers for this youth basketball program only. The sibling discount will be applied at the end of the checkout process. Registering for other sports/programs/activities does not qualify for sibling discount.
Program Description: The Lower Cape Recreational Basketball League is an organized travel basketball league for boys and girls in grades 3-6. The league is made up of teams from Harwich, Chatham, Brewster, Orleans, Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro and Provincetown. Fundamentals, skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship are emphasized. All teams will practice one night a week at the Stony Brook Gym and will have one game a week. Home games are played at Eddy Elementary School (7-8 game schedule). All players will be notified by Brewster Recreation of practice days and times. Space is limited, please sign up ASAP. Volunteer coaches are needed! If interested please contact Brewster Recreation before registering your child/children.
Additional Information:
Teams fill up fast. It is suggested to register as soon as possible.
Late registrations will be placed on a waiting list and accommodated only if space allows.
If Brewster teams do not have enough participants, placement on a surrounding town's team is an option.
Co-ed teams may be formed if not enough boys or girls register to complete individual teams.
All practices will tentatively begin the week of December 16, 2025.
Game schedules are TBA. Games will tentatively begin on January 6, 2025.
Coaches will notify players and parents of practice days and times once they are determined.
