Dates: Saturdays: April 27, 2024 to June 08, 2024 (no Saturday class May 25, 2024)
Ages: Boys & Girls in grades 1-8
Times: Grades 1-2 @ 10:00AM-11:00AM
             Grades 3-5 @ 11:00AM-12:00PM
             Grades 6-8 @ 12:00PM-1:00PM

Program Description: 
Tennis in the Parks for Youth: The tennis program where kids play while they learn! Led by an approved USTA Net Generation tennis coach, the program will focus on developing the skills to serve, rally and play - so it’s perfect for beginners and first-time players. Once the skills are developed, participants will play fun matches with other players in the program. This program uses modified tennis balls, age-appropriate rackets, court sizes, and the latest fun and engaging activities that help players successfully learn and play the game quicker! All players in their first session receive and keep a new age-appropriate racket.
Led by an approved USTA tennis coach Jim Veninger. Coach Jim is a lifelong tennis player. Upon his retirement in 2018, he has devoted much of his time to various aspects of tennis. He plays competitive tennis at 4.0 level, captains USTA teams and is a USTA Official. His brings a deep passion for learning and playing tennis.

What to Bring: Water, sneakers and athletic attire.
