Program Description: Join today and learn the basics of birding while exploring local beaches and conservation areas. During this program, participants will develop skills to help identify birds by sight and sound. Students will be taught where to look, when to look, and what to look and listen for. These sessions align with the peak of spring migration, allowing participants to see new species each week. No experience necessary. Meeting locations vary week to week. Two spring sessions are available; registering for both is not required.
What to Bring: Comfortable walking shoes for varied terrain, water, and binoculars. A limited number of pairs of binoculars are available to borrow among the group.
