Registration for the Brewster Summer Recreation Program is limited to Brewster residents and Town of Brewster employees. Online registration opens at 6:00AM on Monday, April 13, 2026.
Starting in the summer of 2026, the Brewster Rec Summer Program will consist of 3 divisions:
"Rookies" Division: Children going into Pre-K & Kindergarten
"All-Stars" Division: Children going into 1st-5th grade, with separate groups for each grade level.
"Champions" Division: Children going into 6th & 7th grade.
Program Description: Back for another summer at the Brewster Bay Property, our traditional Summer Rec Program runs from June 26, 2026 - August 14, 2026 and offers 3 registration options to choose from:
Whole Summer: June 29, 2026 - August 14, 2026 (7 Weeks)
Session 1: June 29, 2026 - July 24, 2026 (4 Weeks)
Session 2: July 27, 2026 - August 14, 2026 (3 Weeks)
Our popular summer program includes a variety of fun activities that inspire creativity, build character and increase sportsmanship. The Summer Rec Program operates Mondays-Fridays with drop-off offered from 7:45-8:50AM. Activities and programs start promptly at 9:00AM and conclude at 12:00PM with pick up ending at 12:15PM. Bus transportation will be provided for those enrolled in NYA and is only offered at noon dismissal.

Brewster Recreation promises to provide great supervision within a fun and safe environment. Every child who registers will receive a summer program shirt. All children are placed in groups according to their grade. An optional bag lunch is available each day from Food 4 Kids.
*Children must have turned 4 years old by January 1, 2026 in order to register*
*Children enrolled in NYA for the afternoon will be transported via bus at the conclusion of rec each day*
NEW THIS YEAR! Children enrolled in the Champions division will enjoy their own unique Summer Rec experience. While they will still take part in the traditional program listed above, they will also participate in a wide array of field trips and off-campus experiences, including community impact outings, fun and engaging excursions, team-building activities, and water days at local ponds and the pool. Because this division offers a more robust program, the cost will be slightly higher than the traditional recreation program.
What to Bring: Children must bring a nut-free snack and water each day. An optional, free bag lunch is available each day from Food 4 Kids. Proper footwear and attire are required. Sun protection is recommended. Each Wednesday will be a themed “Wacky Wednesday,” and campers are encouraged to dress according to the weekly theme.

Price: $425 per resident child in the Rookies and All-Stars divisions
$625 per resident child in Champions division
Brewster Recreation offers a $25 sibling discount for each additional child in the same household who also registers for the summer rec program. The sibling discount will be applied at the end of the checkout process. Registering for other sports/programs/activities does not qualify for sibling discount.
