Session 1: Art Lab: Eddy Half-Day Maker's Studio
Date: Friday, October 23, 2026 (Early Release Day)
Time: 11:00AM-2:00PM (After School)
Ages: Grades K-5
Location: Eddy Elementary School: Rec Room
Price: $45R/$55NR/Per Child
Program Description: Spend your early release afternoon getting creative in the Elementary Maker's Studio! Participants will design and paint their own colorful pumpkin artwork inspired by Japanese contemporary artist Yayoi Kusama, known for her bold colors, repeating patterns, and iconic polka dots. Students will experiment with color, pattern, and their own personal style to transform an ordinary pumpkin design into a unique work of art. Come hang out, get creative, and leave with a masterpiece of your own!
What to Bring: Please bring a lunch, snack, and water bottle. Participants should wear comfortable clothing that can get a little messy while creating!
Session 2: Art Lab: Half-Day Middle School Maker's Studio
Date: Friday, October 30, 2026 (Early Release Day)
Time: 12:00PM-3:00PM (After School)
Ages: Grades 6-8
Location: Nauset Regional Middle Schooll: Cafeteria
Price: $45R/$55NR/Per Child
Program Description: Bring your creativity for a fun-filled half-day in the Art Lab! Young artists will create vibrant pumpkin paintings inspired by the bold colors, playful patterns, and signature style of Japanese pop artist Yayoi Kusama. Students will have the opportunity to explore color, pattern, and artistic expression while creating their own one-of-a-kind pumpkin masterpiece. A perfect way to spend an early release afternoon creating, experimenting, and having fun!
What to Bring: Lunch, snack, and water bottle. Comfortable clothing suitable for painting and creative activities is recommended.
Session 3: Art Lab: Middle School Holiday Makers
Date: Fridays: November 6, 2026 - December 18, 2026
*No Middle School Holiday Makers on November 27, 2026*

Ages: Grades 6-8
Location: Nauset Regional Middle Schooll: Classroom 206
Price: $160R/$190NR/Per Child
Program Description: Get creative this holiday season with the Middle School Holiday Makers program. Each Friday afternoon, students will explore a variety of art techniques and materials while creating handmade gifts, festive projects, and one-of-a-kind keepsakes. Projects will incorporate a mix of clay, yarn, chalk and oil pastels, printmaking, collage, and more. With a new creative experience each week, this six-week Art Lab is the perfect place to unwind after school, try something new, and make something meaningful for the holidays.
