Program Description: Winter may seem like a quiet season for birding on Cape Cod, but there's still plenty to discover! Join a Mass Audubon naturalist and Brewster Recreation staff member as we explore Cape Cod Bay in search of winter ducks, shorebirds, and seabirds. Along the way, participants will develop skills to identify birds by sight, sound, behavior, and habitat. Be prepared to walk up to 1.5 miles on sandy terrain. No prior birding experience is necessary!
What to Bring: Bring binoculars if you have them! A limited number will be available to borrow for those who don't have their own. Please dress warmly and wear appropriate footwear for cold, wet, and sandy conditions.
