Registration For Brewster Residents Opens Monday, March 10, 2025Registration For Non-Brewster Residents Opens Monday, March 17, 2025Dates: Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays (makeup rain day will be Thursdays) Session 1: Monday, June 30, 2025 - Wednesday, July 2, 2025 Session 2: Monday July 21, 2025 - Wednesday, July 23, 2025 Session 3: Monday August 11, 2025 - Wednesday, August 13, 2025Time: 9:00AM - 12:00PM each day of each sessionAges: Ages 7-13Location: Activity is held at Nickerson State Park Drop-Off and Pick-Up is located at the back soccer field at Freeman's Fields Price: $250R/$275NR/per child per sessionProgram Description: Brewster Recreation and KC&E Adventures will be partnering in hosting multiple 3-day mountain biking programs for junior riders in Nickerson State Park. KC&E Adventures trained and experienced staff will develop a fun curriculum for all participants. Riders will explore the trails of Nickerson while also learning new cycling skills, improving on existing skills and having fun. Staff will focus on foundational skills like body positioning, braking, reading the trail, and cornering. This program is designed for children ages 7-13; children will be divided into age appropriate groups when necessary. All instructors are CPR/first aid certified and have completed a background check. Experience riding a bike is required to participate. What to Bring: All riders need to bring their own bike, helmet and water. Closed-toe shoes are required.
