Brewster Recreation Programs Scholarship - Application for the Brewster Recreation Programs Scholarship
The Brewster Recreation Programs Scholarship helps to cover the cost of recreational opportunities for Brewster families who are in need. Brewster Recreation provides over 70 programs, activities, and events each year for community members of all ages. Although Brewster Recreation tries to provide low cost or free programming, we understand that many families are missing out on great opportunities due to finances. Your contribution to this fund helps to make sure everyone has an equal opportunity to participate. *Money collected for this need-based fund is available to qualifying Brewster residents and can be used towards any recreation program as partial or full payments. To Donate:To donate to this fund online, please use the "Donate Now" process below.To donate to this fund in person, please visit our office at the Eddy Elementary School (2298 Main St, Brewster, MA 02631)To Apply:Brewster Residents in need of funding are encouraged to register below. *Please only register for current programs/sports/events/activities shown on website. *Requests for funds will not be granted for offerings not in season. *Requests will need to be made each season and are first come first serve if accepted.*Funds are only available and allocated depending on amount of money donated.* Families are welcome to apply in person if unable to apply online.A special thank you to Brewster Association of Part-Time Residents for their generous donation to this scholarship fund. With their donation, Brewster Recreation will be able to help local youths attend and participate in programs they might not have been able to otherwise afford.

Participants will design and paint their own colorful pumpkin artwork inspired by Japanese contemporary artist Yayoi Kusama, known for her bold colors, repeating patterns, and iconic polka dots. Students will experiment with color, pattern, and their own personal style to transform an ordinary pumpkin design into a unique work of art. Come hang out, get creative, and leave with a masterpiece of your own!What to Bring: Please bring a lunch, snack, and water bottle. Students will have the opportunity to explore color, pattern, and artistic expression while creating their own one-of-a-kind pumpkin masterpiece. A perfect way to spend an early release afternoon creating, experimenting, and having fun!What to Bring: Lunch, snack, and water bottle. Each Friday afternoon, students will explore a variety of art techniques and materials while creating handmade gifts, festive projects, and one-of-a-kind keepsakes. Projects will incorporate a mix of clay, yarn, chalk and oil pastels, printmaking, collage, and more. With a new creative experience each week, this six-week Art Lab is the perfect place to unwind after school, try something new, and make something meaningful for the holidays.What to Bring: A snack and water bottle.
