Once the skills are developed, participants will play fun matches with other players in the program. This program is taught by USTA tennis coach George Vozeolas. Brewster Recreation is offering two registration options for the 2026 pickleball season.Online registration opens Monday, March 23, 2026 (Proof of residency required for Brewster residents) In-person registration dates are only offered to Brewster residents and will be held: Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 8:30AM-4:00PM. Non-Residents are welcome to join the Brewster Pickleball Group, however space is limited.        The Brewster Pickleball Group consists of roughly 300+ players ranging in age from 18-80+ that have reserved times at the Brewster Community Youth Tennis Courts from 7:00AM-10:00AM each day. Pickleball is played on the 4 youth tennis courts, as well as all 4 tennis courts. Exception is made on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays when senior tennis has the 4 tennis courts from 9:00AM-11:00AM.  When registering online as a resident, a proof of residency document will need to be submitted at the start of the online process. If registering in-person please have appropriate documents and payment upon arrival.*Membership badges are required and can be picked-up at the community courts from a recreation staff member during membership hours. *Non-Residents are welcome, however non-resident registration will be limited. Proof of residency is not required.*After 10:00AM, the courts are open to the public on a first come, first served basis. *Participants must be 18 years old unless they are with an adult.*Routine grounds keeping and facility maintenance is expected starting in May.  *Members have access to pickleballs, picnic tables, and portable nets, if needed. *The majority of the members use the TeamReach app to communicate with each other.The rules for community courts are as follows: Tennis courts that are striped for pickleball are only to be used by pickleball players if all the small courts (Youth tennis courts) are full and the tennis courts are not currently being used for senior tennis.
