This clinic is for those who are new to the game and wish to learn how to play, learn basic skills, as well as the rules & scoring. This clinic includes 45-60 minutes of instruction followed by game play lead by experienced instructors who will teach fundamentals of the game. Shots such as serve, return, 3rd shots, volleys, and dinks will be the main focus. Drills and games will be used to emphasize each shot. All equipment is provided. Guided Play for Beginners Thursday, May 22, 2025 @ 2:00PM-3:30PM. Want to take the next steps for improving game play? This fun clinic focus more detail on the dink shot, who to execute a drop shot and hitting a effective serve. This clinic includes 45-60 minutes of instruction followed by game play lead by experienced instructors. All equipment is provided. Beginner Clinic #2Saturday, May 31, 2025 @ 2:00PM-3:30PM. This clinic is designed for new players who have grasped some pickleball fundamentals. Clinic will include a focus on placement of serves, the purpose and strategy of dinking, transitioning from the baseline to the non-volley zone, as well as 3rd shot drops and drives. This clinic includes 45-60 minutes of instruction followed by game play lead by experienced instructors. All equipment is provided.Speciality ClinicThursday, June 12, 2025 @ 3:00PM-4:30PM.In this clinic, players will learn how to keep the ball low and the pace slow. As well as learning how to make opponents hit balls off a low bounce versus out of the air.. Open to all skill levels this clinic is designed for 45-60 minutes of instruction followed by game play lead by experienced instructors. All equipment is provided. Program Description: Open to those players looking to take the next step in your game. These pickleball clinics are designed for beginners/beginner+ level players who want to progress into more advanced play by working on strokes and utilizing them in a game. Register for each clinic separately or take them all! Each clinic will include 45-60 minutes of instruction followed by game play. All equipment is provided for each clinic. New England pickleball ambassador Sherry Scheer will host all adult pickleball clinics this spring. Sherry was the Coordinator of the Physical Fitness Degree Programs at Berkshire Community College. She is a 2 time National Pickleball Gold Medalist, 2 time US Open Medalist, Cape Cod Ambassador and an IPTPA certified Level I Pickleball Instructor. She is also a sponsored player by Engage Pickleball. IPTPA is the premier benchmark teaching and rating organization in the Pickleball arena. Sherry is the winner of more than 65 competitive medals. She competes in Pickleball tournaments and teaches private lessons and clinics in MA. She also has 37 years of Physical Education teaching experience.
