This clinic is for those who are new to the game and wish to learn how to play, learn basic skills, as well as rules and scoring. This clinic includes 45-60 minutes of instruction followed by game play led by experienced instructors who will teach fundamentals of the game. Shots such as serve, return, 3rd shots, volleys, and dinks will be the main focus. Drills and games will be used to emphasize each shot. All equipment is provided.  Specialty Clinic #1 Thursday, July 10, 2025 @ 4:00PM-5:30PM. This clinic consists of lots of drills and lots of fun. With the main focus of blocking the ball at the net, players will learn how to protect themselves and block drive shots that are hit  from the baseline. This clinic includes 45-60 minutes of instruction followed by game play led by experienced instructors. All equipment is provided. All levels welcome.       Intermediate Players Clinic Saturday, July 19, 2025 @ 3:00PM-4:30PM. Ideal for individuals who have a solid grasp of the basics. Learn roll volleys, flicks, 3rd shot drops, drives and hybrids. Intended for players 3.0-3.8 level. This clinic includes 45-60 minutes of instruction followed by game play led by experienced instructors. All equipment is provided. Beginner Clinic #2 Saturday, August 9, 2025 @ 3:00PM-4:30PM.This clinic is designed for the new players who have grasped some Pickleball fundamentals. Focus will be on improving skills, placement of serves, returns, purpose of dinking, volleys, 3rd shot drops and drives. This clinic is designed for 45-60 minutes of instruction followed by game play led by experienced instructors. All equipment is provided. Speciality Clinic #3 Thursday, August 21, 2025 @ 4:00PM-5:30PM.In this clinic, players will learn the Drill the Drop and “Stop” technique. Players will be taught how to slow the game down, focusing on placement over power. Instructors will teach players how to make their opponents hit the ball off of a low bounce versus in the air. Open to all skill levels this clinic is designed for 45-60 minutes of instruction followed by game play led by experienced instructors. All equipment is provided. Program Description: Open to those players looking to take the next step in your game. These pickleball clinics are designed for beginners/beginner+ level players who want to progress into more advanced play by working on strokes and utilizing them in a game. Register for each clinic separately or take them all! Each clinic will include 45-60 minutes of instruction followed by game play. All equipment is provided for each clinic. New England pickleball ambassador Sherry Scheer will host all adult pickleball clinics this spring. Sherry was the Coordinator of the Physical Fitness Degree Programs at Berkshire Community College. She is a two-time National Pickleball Gold Medalist, two-time US Open Medalist, Cape Cod Ambassador and an IPTPA certified Level I Pickleball Instructor. She is also a sponsored player by Engage Pickleball. IPTPA is the premier benchmark teaching and rating organization in the Pickleball arena. Sherry is the winner of more than 65 competitive medals. She competes in Pickleball tournaments and teaches private lessons and clinics in MA. She also has 37 years of Physical Education teaching experience. What To Bring: Pickleball paddle if available (otherwise a paddle and all other equipment will be provided) water and proper clothing.*If rained out, the clinic will be made up the following day at the same time.*All clinics are non-refundable, and no account credit is given.
