The Brewster Recreation Programs Scholarship helps to cover the cost of recreational opportunities for Brewster families who are in need. Brewster Recreation provides over 70 programs, activities, and events each year for community members of all ages. Although Brewster Recreation tries to provide low cost or free programming, we understand that many families are missing out on great opportunities due to finances. Your contribution to this fund helps to make sure everyone has an equal opportunity to participate. *Money collected for this need-based fund is available to qualifying Brewster residents and can be used towards any recreation program as partial or full payments. Open to all seniors 60+ and for beginner and experienced players alike to sharpen skills, make friends and enjoy the game. Members have reserved access to the Brewster Community Tennis Courts every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00AM -11:00AM. Cost of membership covers entire season of March - October. *During off hours, the courts are open to the public on a first come, first served basis*Routine grounds keeping and facility maintenance is expected starting in May. Through the use of fun games and challenges, kids will be introduced to basic rules, scoring, stroke/play and fundamentals and safety of the sport. Each class will focus on a different element of the game (serving, returning, non-volley zone, transition area) and at the completion of the program students will have a good understanding of how to have fun and be safe while playing. Classes will be taught by a Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) Certified Teaching Pro. Students who register for this program will be met by rec staff after school and walked over to the courts. Students are to be picked up at the courts by parents or guardians unless in the NYA program. Equipment is provided, no experience necessary. What To Bring: All participants must wear proper athletic shoes that offer support (no crocs, flip flops or sandals). Court style shoes recommended but not necessary. Proper athletic attire is expected. Participants are also asked to bring a water bottle and a pickleball paddle if they have one. Program Description: The Lower Cape Recreational Soccer League is an organized travel league for children in grades 3-6 and consists of municipal teams from Chatham to Provincetown. Depending on the turnout from other towns, teams will play a weekly schedule with one game (depending on the number of teams in the league) and a weekly practice day scheduled by the coach. Both grade levels will be playing a 7v7 format. A mid-season jamboree as well as Friday night games under the lights may be included. If a town doesn't have enough kids to make a team, they are allowed to make a co-ed team that will play against the boy's teams. Brewster Recreation Programs Scholarship - Application for the Brewster Recreation Programs Scholarship
The Brewster Recreation Programs Scholarship helps to cover the cost of recreational opportunities for Brewster families who are in need. Brewster Recreation provides over 70 programs, activities, and events each year for community members of all ages. Although Brewster Recreation tries to provide low cost or free programming, we understand that many families are missing out on great opportunities due to finances. Your contribution to this fund helps to make sure everyone has an equal opportunity to participate. *Money collected for this need-based fund is available to qualifying Brewster residents and can be used towards any recreation program as partial or full payments. Program Description: The Lower Cape Recreational Soccer League is an organized travel league for children in grades 3-6 and consists of municipal teams from Chatham to Provincetown. The Brewster Recreation Programs Scholarship helps to cover the cost of recreational opportunities for Brewster families who are in need. Brewster Recreation provides over 70 programs, activities, and events each year for community members of all ages. Although Brewster Recreation tries to provide low cost or free programming, we understand that many families are missing out on great opportunities due to finances. Your contribution to this fund helps to make sure everyone has an equal opportunity to participate. *Money collected for this need-based fund is available to qualifying Brewster residents and can be used towards any recreation program as partial or full payments. Program Description: Students will partake in 5 weeks of running training held on the Brewster Rail Trail. During the first few weeks the focus will be on shorter distance training. The last weeks of Running Club will focus on intermediate and long distances. Running Club is held on Wednesdays in a group format. Students will have the opportunity to receive 'workout plans' to complete on their own each weekend. The Rail Trail provides a safe and secure location for this program. Staff will be positioned at various locations to ensure participants safety. This trail is ideal for both short and long distance training. All running levels welcome! We will meet each day at the Community Courts at the Stony Brook Elementary School. Parent volunteers are needed! Each class will focus on a different element of the game (serving, returning, non-volley zone, transition area) and at the completion of the program students will have a good understanding of how to have fun and be safe while playing. Classes will be taught by a Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) Certified Teaching Pro. Students who register for this program will be met by rec staff after school and walked over to the courts. Students are to be picked up at the courts by parents or guardians unless in the NYA program. Equipment is provided, no experience necessary. What To Bring: All participants must wear proper athletic shoes that offer support (no crocs, flip flops or sandals). Court style shoes recommended but not necessary. The Brewster Recreation Programs Scholarship helps to cover the cost of recreational opportunities for Brewster families who are in need. Brewster Recreation provides over 70 programs, activities, and events each year for community members of all ages. Although Brewster Recreation tries to provide low cost or free programming, we understand that many families are missing out on great opportunities due to finances. Your contribution to this fund helps to make sure everyone has an equal opportunity to participate. *Money collected for this need-based fund is available to qualifying Brewster residents and can be used towards any recreation program as partial or full payments. Program Description: The Lower Cape Recreational Soccer League is an organized travel league for children in grades 3-6 and consists of municipal teams from Chatham to Provincetown. Depending on the turnout from other towns, teams will play a weekly schedule with one game (depending on the number of teams in the league) and a weekly practice day scheduled by the coach. Both grade levels will be playing a 7v7 format. A mid-season jamboree as well as Friday night games under the lights may be included. If a town doesn't have enough kids to make a team, they are allowed to make a co-ed team that will play against the boy's teams. If there are not enough teams to make a league, the program will run internally. Teams fill up quickly so register as soon as possible. No experience is necessary to participate. Brewster Recreation Programs Scholarship - Application for the Brewster Recreation Programs Scholarship
The Brewster Recreation Programs Scholarship helps to cover the cost of recreational opportunities for Brewster families who are in need. Brewster Recreation provides over 70 programs, activities, and events each year for community members of all ages. Although Brewster Recreation tries to provide low cost or free programming, we understand that many families are missing out on great opportunities due to finances. Your contribution to this fund helps to make sure everyone has an equal opportunity to participate. *Money collected for this need-based fund is available to qualifying Brewster residents and can be used towards any recreation program as partial or full payments. Registration For Brewster Residents Opens Monday, March 2, 2026Registration For Non-Brewster Residents Opens Monday, March 9, 2026Dates: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays stating March 30, 2026 and ending October 30, 2026Time: 9:00AM - 11:00AM Ages: Everyone 60+ Location: Brewster Community Tennis Courts: Courts 1-4Price: $50R/$70NRParticipants 80+ are free (registration is still required) Program Description: Become a member of this great group of senior tennis players for doubles games. Open to all seniors 60+ and for beginner and experienced players alike to sharpen skills, make friends and enjoy the game. Members have reserved access to the Brewster Community Tennis Courts every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00AM -11:00AM. Cost of membership covers entire season of March - October. *During off hours, the courts are open to the public on a first come, first served basis*Routine grounds keeping and facility maintenance is expected starting in May. Brewster Recreation Programs Scholarship - Application for the Brewster Recreation Programs Scholarship
The Brewster Recreation Programs Scholarship helps to cover the cost of recreational opportunities for Brewster families who are in need. Brewster Recreation provides over 70 programs, activities, and events each year for community members of all ages. Although Brewster Recreation tries to provide low cost or free programming, we understand that many families are missing out on great opportunities due to finances. Your contribution to this fund helps to make sure everyone has an equal opportunity to participate. *Money collected for this need-based fund is available to qualifying Brewster residents and can be used towards any recreation program as partial or full payments. Both grade levels will be playing a 7v7 format. A mid-season jamboree as well as Friday night games under the lights may be included. If a town doesn't have enough kids to make a team, they are allowed to make a co-ed team that will play against the boy's teams. If there are not enough teams to make a league, the program will run internally. Teams fill up quickly so register as soon as possible. No experience is necessary to participate. The sibling discount will be applied at the end of the checkout process. Registering for other sports/programs/activities does not qualify for sibling discount. Program Description: The Lower Cape Recreational Soccer League is an organized travel league for children in grades 3-6 and consists of municipal teams from Chatham to Provincetown. Depending on the turnout from other towns, teams will play a weekly schedule with one game (depending on the number of teams in the league) and a weekly practice day scheduled by the coach. Both grade levels will be playing a 7v7 format. A mid-season jamboree as well as Friday night games under the lights may be included. If a town doesn't have enough kids to make a team, they are allowed to make a co-ed team that will play against the boy's teams. If there are not enough teams to make a league, the program will run internally. Teams fill up quickly so register as soon as possible. No experience is necessary to participate. Volunteer coaches are needed! If interested please contact Brewster Recreation before registering your child/children. Additional Information:Teams fill up fast. What to Bring: Comfortable walking shoes for varied terrain, water, and binoculars. A limited number of pairs of binoculars are available to borrow among the group.

Adult Pick-Up Basketball Will Start Thursday September 17, 2026. Dates: Thursdays: September 17, 2026 - August 5, 2027. *There is no Adult Pick-Up Basketball when school is closed and/or during school vacations.Time: 6:45PM-8:45PM Ages: 18+ Location: Eddy Elementary School Gym, Rear EntrancePrice: $5 drop in fee per person per day (Cash Only) Program Description: The Brewster Recreation open adult basketball program is back! Designed to create a positive opportunity for men and women to participate in pick-up basketball games, socialize, and be active in the Fall, Winter, and Spring months. To participate, simply arrive at Eddy Elementary School (park in back parking lot) enter though back gym doors, pay recreation staff member $5.00 cash, sign in and agree to the program waiver, and have fun! All ability levels are welcome to join. No experience necessary. Equipment is provided. What to bring: Basketball shoes, athletic clothing (white and/or black shirt/jersey) and water.

The Brewster Recreation Programs Scholarship helps to cover the cost of recreational opportunities for Brewster families who are in need. Brewster Recreation provides over 70 programs, activities, and events each year for community members of all ages. Although Brewster Recreation tries to provide low cost or free programming, we understand that many families are missing out on great opportunities due to finances. Your contribution to this fund helps to make sure everyone has an equal opportunity to participate. *Money collected for this need-based fund is available to qualifying Brewster residents and can be used towards any recreation program as partial or full payments.
