Registration For Brewster Residents Opens Monday, November 3, 2025.Saturday Indoor Pickleball *Brewster Residents Only/Registration Required*Dates: Saturdays: February 7, 2026 - April 25, 2026 Time: 8:00AM - 11:00AM Ages: Ages 18+Location: Eddy Elementary School Gym Price: $35.00 (Registration Required) School Vacations Indoor Pickleball*Drop-In/Open Play For All* Dates: February: Tuesday 2/17/26 - Friday 2/20/26 April: Tuesday 4/21/26 - Friday 4/24/26Time: 8:00AM - 11:00AMAges: Ages 18+Location: Eddy Elementary School Gym Price: Free (No Registration Required) Program Description: As the weather gets colder, pickleball will be moving into the gym at Eddy Elementary School. This will be in addition to the outdoor program that Brewster Recreation offers in the spring, summer, and fall. Three indoor courts are available and are open to all skill levels ages 18 and older. The rec department will supply portable nets, balls, and a few extra paddles as well as a whiteboard for court rotations. Registration, proof of residency, and payment are required for Saturday play. When registering online, a proof of residency document will need to be submitted at the start of the online process. If registering in-person please have appropriate documents and payment upon arrival. The weeks of school vacations are FREE and do not require registration, or proof of residency; just drop in! Registration For Brewster Residents Opens Monday, November 3, 2025Registration For Non-Brewster Residents Opens Monday, November 10, 2025Local pickleball certified teaching pro/youth developer, Corey Sprague with BOOST Pickleball (BOOST PB), in conjunction with Brewster Recreation, are excited to offer a variety of fun indoor pickleball opportunities. Corey has taught countless lessons to kids and adults alike from beginner to advanced play. Using an easy to follow learning progression, fun/challenging games and a little humor, he will safely and knowledgeably guide, refine and polish players wherever they are and wherever they want to go along their pickleball journey. Below is a list of the indoor pickleball Fundamentals clinics hosted this season by Boost Pickleball. Participants must be in grades 1-5.Dates & Times: Session 1: November 15, 2025 @ 10:30AM-12:00PM Session 2: December 6, 2025 @ 9:00AM-10:30AM Session 3: January 10, 2026 @3:30PM-5:00PM Session 4: March 21, 2026 @ 11:00AM-12:30PMAges: Grades 1-5Location: Eddy Elementary School: Gymnasium Price: $20R/$25NR/Per Participant Per SessionProgram Description: Through the use of fun and challenging games, young aspiring picklers will learn the fundamentals of the country's fastest growing sport. During these sessions patient teaching pros will focus on teamwork, hand-eye skills and controlled body movements. All kids will be placed in age appropriate groups. Junior Pickles is a fast-paced SUPER FUN learning experience that sets the stage for a lifetime of family recreation, exercise and memories. No equipment or experience necessary. Topics will include: proper grip, body posture, ball contact, serving, return of serve, beginner game play and more. These clinics will not go deep into the rules of the game and will focus primarily on basics so that participants can spend more time hitting, laughing and learning. No experience necessary and equipment will be provided. Space is limited.Beyond the Pickleball Basics #1 Saturday, November 22, 2025 @ 12:00PM-2:00PMThis clinic is designed to refresh, refine and polish one's game. Whether you’ve just learned the sport or have been playing for a little bit, teaching pro, Corey Sprague will take your game to the next step. Using fun progressions, your serve, forehand stroke and net play “kitchen” will receive a tune up. Emphasis will be on proper body mechanics/balance, movements and a deeper understanding of the sport. Session will be split between fun drills and game play. Some experience needed. Space is limited. Participants will be shown tips to refresh one's shots, leading to a more polished player by the end of the session. Shortened games will be played after each drill to put skills to the test.
