Registration For Brewster Residents Opens Monday, November 3, 2025Registration For Non-Brewster Residents Opens Monday, November 10, 2025Local pickleball certified teaching pro/youth developer, Corey Sprague with BOOST Pickleball (BOOST PB), in conjunction with Brewster Recreation, are excited to offer a variety of fun indoor pickleball opportunities. Corey has taught countless lessons to kids and adults alike from beginner to advanced play. Using an easy to follow learning progression, fun/challenging games and a little humor, he will safely and knowledgeably guide, refine and polish players wherever they are and wherever they want to go along their pickleball journey. Below is a list of the indoor pickleball Fundamentals clinics hosted this season by Boost Pickleball. Junior Pickles is a fast-paced SUPER FUN learning experience that sets the stage for a lifetime of family recreation, exercise and memories. No equipment or experience necessary. This recreational format is super fun and offers a bit of friendly, light-hearted competition. Courts are designated by number and players move up and down the river playing with different partners, creating chemistry and sharing a lot of laughs. This is a quick-moving format and wait times will not exceed 12 minutes. Space is limited to ensure players get plenty of game time. This fun-filled program led by recreation staff introduces players to the basics of basketball through age-appropriate drills and games. Participants will learn fundamental skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting while building coordination and confidence. This is a non-competitive, skill-based program designed to help tiny tots develop a love for the game in a positive and supportive environment. Children will also play fun basketball-themed games. Program Description: This recreational basketball league is a great introduction to the skills of basketball. Boys and girls learn the basics of basketball while also having a great time! Players are divided into teams and practice for the first half of their scheduled time then play an uncompetitive scrimmage against another team for the second half. Parents will receive team and schedule information by email prior to the start of the program. Please note that teams in this division will play from 9:30AM-10:15AM or 10:30AM-11:15AM depending on schedule and times may vary week to week. Volunteer coaches are needed! Erin has experience as a school teacher and has recently focused her energy primarily on being a yoga instructor. She has worked with kids as young as 3 years old to teenagers. This class is designed for kids ranging from 3rd to 5th grade. The class will meet once a week for 60 minutes where the kids will participate in yoga poses, meditation, breathing exercises and yoga games. These activities will help increase their body awareness as well as strength and flexibility while improving their focus and concentration. This supervised activity will be fun for all children!
