This will be in addition to the outdoor program that Brewster Recreation offers in the spring, summer, and fall. Three indoor courts are available and are open to all skill levels ages 18 and older. The rec department will supply portable nets, balls, and a few extra paddles as well as a whiteboard for court rotations. Registration, proof of residency, and payment are required for Saturday play. When registering online, a proof of residency document will need to be submitted at the start of the online process. If registering in-person please have appropriate documents and payment upon arrival. The weeks of school vacations are FREE and do not require registration, or proof of residency; just drop in! Corey has taught countless lessons to kids and adults alike from beginner to advanced play. Using an easy to follow learning progression, fun/challenging games and a little humor, he will safely and knowledgeably guide, refine and polish players wherever they are and wherever they want to go along their pickleball journey. Below is a list of the indoor pickleball clinics hosted this season by Boost Pickleball. Participants must be 18+ to register. Intro to Pickleball #1Saturday, November 15, 2025 @ 12:00PM-2:00PMIntro to Pickleball is perfect for those that want to give the country's fastest growing sport a trial run. Regardless of athletic background, teaching pro, Corey Sprague will guide you through basic game rules, strokes and play. Topics will include: proper grip, body posture, ball contact, serving, return of serve, beginner game play and more. These clinics will not go deep into the rules of the game and will focus primarily on basics so that participants can spend more time hitting, laughing and learning. No experience necessary and equipment will be provided. Space is limited.Beyond the Pickleball Basics #1 Saturday, November 22, 2025 @ 12:00PM-2:00PMThis clinic is designed to refresh, refine and polish one's game. Whether you’ve just learned the sport or have been playing for a little bit, teaching pro, Corey Sprague will take your game to the next step. Using fun progressions, your serve, forehand stroke and net play “kitchen” will receive a tune up. Emphasis will be on proper body mechanics/balance, movements and a deeper understanding of the sport. Session will be split between fun drills and game play. Some experience needed. Space is limited. This intro to pickleball clinic is perfect for those that want to give the country's fastest growing sport a trial run. Teaching Pro, Corey Sprague will offer tips and tricks as they pertain to each discipline of pickleball play. This session will consist of game-like drills focusing on service, return of service, dinks, blocks and put aways. This is not a tutorial teaching session. Participants will be shown tips to refresh one's shots, leading to a more polished player by the end of the session. Shortened games will be played after each drill to put skills to the test.
