             Session 2:   2:00PM - 4:00PM

Ages: Open to Everyone Ages 14+ ( Ages 14-17 are required to be with an adult
Location: Brewster Long Pond: Public Boat Ramp
Price: Free (Registration Required) 

Program Description: Join the Mass Audubon and Brewster Recreation staff as we paddle across Long Pond! This will be a 2hr long trip starting from the Brewster Long Pond Public Boat Ramp and paddling to the new Long Pond property (former CCSC beach). Please bring a picnic snack with you. Space is limited to 10 spots per time slot. Kayaks, paddles, life vests and safety equipment are provided for participants who need equipment. If you wish to bring your own kayak it must be a single seat kayak. Life jackets must be worn at all times when on the water. Previous and recent paddling experience and good swimming ability are required. Please arrive 10 minutes in advance of the start of the program. Any weather cancellation decisions will be made on Friday June 2nd/Saturday June 3rd by Audubon. Sunday June 4th will be make up rain date if needed.

What To Bring: Participants may bring their own single seat kayak to participate. Kayak must be sit-inside style and all participants must have an up to date life jacket. It is recommend to bring sunscreen, windbreaker, hat, drinking water and a snack for a picnic on the beach. Kayaks, paddles, life vests and safety equipment will be provided for those who need equipment. 

This trip is intended for those with previous kayaking experience. Participants will be required to wear life vests.
