The sibling discount will be applied at the end of the checkout process. Registering for other sports/programs/activities does not qualify for sibling discount. Program Description: Brain Games activities are designed to build logic and problem solving skills through fun learning techniques. These games help improve attention levels, memory, response time, logic skills, and other measures of cognitive function. This supervised activity will give students' brains a workout while having fun. Activity and pick-up is located at the recreation room at Eddy Elementary School. Designed to create a positive opportunity for men and women to participate in pick-up basketball games, socialize, and be active in the Fall, Winter, and Spring months. To participate, simply arrive at Eddy Elementary School (park in back parking lot) enter though back gym doors, pay recreation staff member $5.00 cash, sign in and agree to the program waiver, and have fun! Boys and girls learn the basics of basketball while also having a great time! Players are divided into teams and practice for the first half of their scheduled time then play an uncompetitive scrimmage against another team for the second half. Parents will receive team and schedule information by email prior to the start of the program. Please note that teams in this division will play from 11:30AM-12:20PM or 12:30PM-1:20PM depending on schedule and times may vary week to week. Volunteer coaches are needed! Snow Shoe Rentals - Snow Shoe Rental
Snow Shoe Rentals Available From November 3, 2025-March 19, 2026.Location: Snow shoe rentals can be checked out at the Recreation Office at the Eddy Elementary School Price: $5 Per Day/Per individual: Please pay in person at the time of rental. Cash & Credit Card accepted. Program Description: If you are interested in renting snow shoes for the day, or for the weekend, we have you covered! Our rental shoes are standard adult snow shoes and will facilitate anyone from 100lbs to 250lbs. Please contact the Brewster Recreation staff for rental information or questions. Registered students from Stony Brook Elementary will be walked over by Rec Staff. Program Description: Brain Games activities are designed to build logic and problem solving skills through fun learning techniques. These games help improve attention levels, memory, response time, logic skills, and other measures of cognitive function. This supervised activity will give students' brains a workout while having fun. Activity and pick-up is located at the recreation room at Eddy Elementary School. Registered students from Stony Brook Elementary will be walked over by Rec Staff. Any students in NYA will be dropped off by Rec Staff to NYA during dismissal. All equipment is provided.
