Program Description: Students will partake in 5 weeks of running training held at the Brewster Bay Property. During the first few weeks the focus will be on sprints and sprint training. The last weeks of Running Club will focus on intermediate and long distances. Running Club is held on Wednesdays in a group format. Students will have the opportunity to receive 'workout plans' to complete on their own each weekend. The Brewster Bay Property provides a safe and secure location for this program as it host limited traffic to the public during all sessions. The property boasts many fields, hills, paths, roads, and trails that are ample for both short and long distance training. All running levels welcome! Parent volunteers are needed! Designed to create a positive opportunity for men and women to participate in pick-up basketball games, socialize, and be active in the Fall, Winter, and Spring months. To participate, simply arrive at Eddy Elementary School (park in back parking lot) enter though back gym doors, pay recreation staff member $5.00 cash, sign in and agree to the program waiver, and have fun! Our junior pros will focus on one new element of the sport (serve, return of serve, quick hand exchange volleys, overhead put aways, touch shots and more) each session, and apply it to competitive friendly play that day. Proper court etiquette and sportsmanship expected and respected. Learn to play like a pro with certified coach, Corey Sprague. Students who register for this program will be need to be dropped off and picked up at the Brewster Community Youth Tennis Courts. Program Description: Students will partake in 5 weeks of running training held at the Brewster Bay Property. During the first few weeks the focus will be on sprints and sprint training. The last weeks of Running Club will focus on intermediate and long distances. Running Club is held on Wednesdays in a group format. Students will have the opportunity to receive 'workout plans' to complete on their own each weekend. The Brewster Bay Property provides a safe and secure location for this program as it host limited traffic to the public during all sessions. The property boasts many fields, hills, paths, roads, and trails that are ample for both short and long distance training. All running levels welcome! Parent volunteers are needed! Dates: Thursdays: September 11, 2025 - August 6, 2026. *There is no Adult Pick-Up Basketball when school is closed and/or during school vacations.Time: 6:45PM-8:45PM Ages: 18+ Location: Eddy Elementary School Gym, Rear EntrancePrice: $5 drop in fee per person per day (Cash Only) Program Description: The Brewster Recreation open adult basketball program is back! Designed to create a positive opportunity for men and women to participate in pick-up basketball games, socialize, and be active in the Fall, Winter, and Spring months. To participate, simply arrive at Eddy Elementary School (park in back parking lot) enter though back gym doors, pay recreation staff member $5.00 cash, sign in and agree to the program waiver, and have fun! All ability levels are welcome to join. No experience necessary. Equipment is provided. What to bring: Basketball shoes, athletic clothing (white and/or black shirt/jersey) and water.

Both grade levels will be playing a 7v7 format. A mid-season jamboree as well as Friday night games under the lights may be included. If a town doesn't have enough kids to make a team, they are allowed to make a co-ed team that will play against the boy's teams. If there are not enough teams to make a league, the program will run internally. Teams fill up quickly so register as soon as possible. No experience is necessary to participate. Volunteer coaches are needed! If interested please contact Brewster Recreation before registering your child/children. Additional Information:Teams fill up fast. Program Description: Students will partake in 5 weeks of running training held at the Brewster Bay Property. During the first few weeks the focus will be on sprints and sprint training. The last weeks of Running Club will focus on intermediate and long distances. Running Club is held on Wednesdays in a group format. Students will have the opportunity to receive 'workout plans' to complete on their own each weekend. The Brewster Bay Property provides a safe and secure location for this program as it host limited traffic to the public during all sessions. The property boasts many fields, hills, paths, roads, and trails that are ample for both short and long distance training. All running levels welcome! Parent volunteers are needed! Participants who attend Eddy Elementary School and or Stony Brook Elementary School will be met by a recreation staff member at their school and walked over to Eddy's Rec room. Members of any other school will be responsible for transportation to this activity. This one-day program offers students an introduction to the basic principles of drawing. Students will explore the importance of perspective, shadowing, tone, texture, and other fundamentals of black and white drawing while learning to draw haunted houses and spooky castles. Supplies and materials will be provided for all students. This program is hosted by local artist Neal Nichols Jr "Mr Geography" who travels the world teaching art and geography to schools all over the U.S., as well as Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. The sibling discount will be applied at the end of the checkout process. Registering for other sports/programs/activities does not qualify for sibling discount. Program Description: The Lower Cape Recreational Soccer League is an organized travel league for children in grades 3-6 and consists of municipal teams from Chatham to Provincetown. Depending on the turnout from other towns, teams will play a weekly schedule with one game (depending on the number of teams in the league) and a weekly practice day scheduled by the coach. Both grade levels will be playing a 7v7 format. A mid-season jamboree as well as Friday night games under the lights may be included. If a town doesn't have enough kids to make a team, they are allowed to make a co-ed team that will play against the boy's teams. If there are not enough teams to make a league, the program will run internally. Teams fill up quickly so register as soon as possible. No experience is necessary to participate. Volunteer coaches are needed! If interested please contact Brewster Recreation before registering your child/children. Additional Information:Teams fill up fast. It is suggested to register as soon as possible.Late registrations will be placed on a waiting list and accommodated only if space allows.If Brewster teams do not have enough participants, placement on a surrounding town's team is an option.All practices will tentatively begin the week of September 8, 2025.Games schedules are TBA.
